About the Role

We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Corporate Counsel to lead our legal and corporate governance functions. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing strategic advice on real estate, construction, and corporate matters, including legislative changes and high-level negotiations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide strategic advice on real estate, construction, and corporate matters
  • Advise on legislative changes in the real estate and construction industry
  • Lead high-level negotiations and educate the team on legal and regulatory matters
  • Manage disputes and ensure compliance with regulatory bodies
  • Develop and maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders and external legal advisers

Requirements

  • A minimum of 15 years post-admission experience in the property and/or construction industry
  • A senior role within your current organisation with experience in dealing with executives and running the legal function
  • Excellent commercial and financial acumen
  • Outstanding persuasive communication skills
  • A desire to work collaboratively
