Job Title: External Member

Role Description: The Southern Adelaide Local Health Network is seeking a professional and independent member to join our Audit and Risk Committee. The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring the effective management of strategic and high operational risk, compliance with accounting standards and practices, and advising senior officials on matters of significant concern or risk exposure.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the risk management system and ensure its effectiveness.
  • Monitor and review integrated compliance systems for the health system.
  • Advise senior officials on matters of significant concern or risk exposure.
  • Internal audit including the performance of internal and external providers.
  • Commercial management and acumen.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in senior level roles and appointments.
  • Strong understanding of governance and risk management principles.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
