Independent Governance Expert Wanted

About the Role:

We are seeking a seasoned professional to join our Audit and Risk Committee as an Independent Member. This is a unique opportunity to contribute to the strategic direction of our organization and make a positive impact on the health system.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage and mitigate strategic and operational risks through effective risk management systems
  • Ensure compliance with integrated systems, including monitoring and review
  • Provide expert advice on accounting standards and practices under the Public Finance and Audit Act 1987 (SA)
  • Support senior officials in matters of significant concern or risk exposure related to internal and external audits
  • Lead internal audit initiatives, including performance evaluation of internal and external providers
  • Apply commercial management and acumen to drive results
Requirements:
