Key Role: Independent Governance Professional

The AUSA Transition Board seeks two independent governance professionals with expertise in finance and legal, risk, and governance. As a key member of this board, you will provide strategic leadership and oversight, guiding the entity towards its vision and ensuring effective management of its activities and services.


Required skills and qualifications:

  • Finance (CA/CPA)
  • Legal, risk, and governance

Candidates should possess high-level communication, advocacy, and stakeholder management abilities, as well as the warmth, empathy, integrity, pragmatism, and credibility necessary to inspire others. Relevant governance qualifications and experience in a large and complex organisation undergoing significant change will be highly regarded.


The successful candidates will have no material links to the formation universities and be committed to fostering a culture of collaboration and support. They will possess a visionary, proactive, and solution-oriented mindset, complemented by commercial and political acumen.
