Job Opportunity

The position of Transportation Operations Executive is a leadership role that requires the ability to manage a dedicated national transport team. The successful candidate will be responsible for driving continuous improvement, compliance, and efficiency across the transport operations.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Team Management: Coach, lead, and inspire a team of drivers and coordinators, creating a cohesive, customer-centric, and high-performing environment.
  • Business Growth & Improvement: Identify opportunities to grow profitability, efficiency, and service quality across our transport operations.
  • Supplier Relationship Management: Actively manage and review supplier relationships, holding partners accountable to high standards of service, compliance (Chain of Responsibility) and cost-efficiency.
  • Fleet Management: Oversee fleet utilisation, maintenance scheduling, compliance management, and daily route planning to deliver optimal service to customers.
Requirements:
  • Minimum 3–5 years' experience managing transport or logistics teams, including drivers and vehicles.
  • A proactive, curious mindset, committed to challenging the status quo to drive positive change.
  • Proven leadership maturity to strike the balance between providing guidance and maintaining accountability.
  • A strong understanding of Chain of Responsibility (CoR), NHVR, and associated transport compliance.
  • Experience managing and optimising third-party supplier relationships.
  • Excellent interpersonal, coaching, and stakeholder management skills.
  • A practical, solution-oriented approach to problem-solving, underpinned by sound commercial judgment.
