The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing transport operations, ensuring all activities are conducted in accordance with relevant policies and procedures.

  • Act as the primary contact representative for the team regarding transport, store roster/store service reviews, new implementations, truck trials, risk assessments, and general service delivery.
  • Oversee Transport operations daily execution within appointed scope and in conjunction with Contracts Manager, Operations team & 3PL Transport Manager.
  • Support the delivery execution with 3rd & 4th party carriers, day-to-day DC operational involvement to understand service position and any potential service risks.
  • Ensure all operations are conducted in accordance with relevant policies, procedures, and legislative requirements.
  • Work closely with DC and 3PL teams to ensure continuous operations flow, update stakeholders on a real-time basis of any obstructions and/or non-compliance.

The ideal candidate will have comprehensive experience and understanding of transport operations, including experience in an allocator/fleet scheduler role. They will also possess excellent interpersonal, communication, and negotiation skills, as well as the ability to work efficiently without direct supervision.

This is a permanent full-time onsite role working Monday to Friday, 7:30am-4pm.
