Transportation Operations Manager

Job Description:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Transportation Operations Manager to oversee the movement of vehicles across our network. This is an exciting opportunity for a logistics professional to join our team and make a significant impact on our business.
In this role, you will be responsible for managing the daily operations of our transportation team, ensuring that vehicles are collected and delivered safely and efficiently. You will work closely with internal departments and external vendors to optimize service performance and cost. Your strong analytical skills and attention to detail will enable you to identify areas for improvement and implement solutions to prevent quality problems.
Key responsibilities include:
- Ensuring the safe and efficient movement of vehicles across our network;
- Managing vendor performance and identifying opportunities for improvement;
- Analyzing data to inform decision-making and drive business growth;
- Developing and maintaining relationships with internal stakeholders and external vendors;
- Staying up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in transportation management.
To succeed in this role, you will need:
- A degree in Logistics or Supply Chain Management (or equivalent experience);
- Strong experience in transportation management, preferably in a high-volume, fast-paced environment;
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills;
- Ability to communicate effectively with internal stakeholders and external vendors;
- Proficiency in Google applications (docs, sheets) and ability to navigate complex spreadsheets.
