Lead Academic Developer

As a key member of our educational team, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of education. This is an exciting opportunity to lead the development and implementation of academic frameworks, drive educational initiatives, and empower students to excel.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Strategic Leadership: Articulate a compelling vision for education, formulating clear goals, leading teams toward success through thoughtful decision making and effective communication.
  • Human Resource Management: Foster a productive working environment by ensuring the implementation of appropriate human resource management policies, programs, and strategies.
  • Future Focussed: Design learning programs that cater to current and future knowledge and skills needs, providing flexibility to adapt as needed.
  • Quality Assurance: Deliver high-quality education by implementing assessment and evaluation strategies, monitoring academic progress, and addressing any issues promptly.
  • Industry and Community Relations: Develop relationships with major industries, government agencies, employer groups, and communities to enhance collaboration.
  • Equal Employment and Education Opportunity: Ensure the principles of equal employment and education opportunity, ethical practice, cultural diversity, and legislative requirements are known and applied by all stakeholders.
Requirements:
  • Undergraduate degree in Adult or Vocational Education
  • Diploma in Management (Min AQF5) or Graduate Certificate in Management
  • Strong knowledge of educational best practices and current trends
  • Excellent industry and government stakeholder partnering skills
  • Strong financial acumen, project management, and strategic thinking experience
  • Trade or relevant professional qualifications and experience
  • Highly refined interpersonal and communication skills at all levels
  • Demonstrated ability to develop and implement educational strategies
