Role Overview:

  • Manage and coordinate the delivery of complex, multi-discipline engineering projects from inception to completion.
Key Responsibilities
  • Project management encompassing Scope, Time, Cost, Risk, Quality, and Change Control.
  • Engineering, construction, testing, commissioning, verification, and validation deliverables coordination.
  • Interface and possession issues resolution through participant engagement.
  • Integrated Assurance process facilitation in line with progressive assurance strategies.
  • Transition to Operations process facilitation according to integration strategies.
  • Production of project plans and schedules supervision.
  • Compliance with Alliance and Internal reporting requirements.
  • Contract administration.
  • Audits coordination and support.
  • Progress reports, performance reviews, and commercial reports preparation.

Qualifications include significant commercial experience (5+ years) in turnkey projects within rail signalling and delivering systems like ETCS. A degree in Engineering, Project Management, or Construction Management is also required along with training in PMP, Prince2, or similar methodologies. The ideal candidate must have initiative-taking skills, excellent leadership, organisational, and people skills. Ability to work and lead in a multicultural environment, take prompt decisions, and maintain strong relationships with technology providers are essential. Additionally, the candidate should have experience in effective resource management, real-time system engineering, software verification and validation best practices, and safety-critical techniques.
