Senior Family Services Practitioner Allocations Coordinator
">Our team is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Senior Family Services Practitioner (Allocations Coordinator) to join our Child and Family Welfare team. In this critical role, you will coordinate all aspects of referral, entry, engagement, and allocation of cases from Child FIRST/The Orange Door.

- You will undertake risk and needs assessments, deliver short-term case management, and provide an active holding function to children and families who are referred to the Family Services Program.">
- Working collaboratively with Child Protection, you will support families to enhance parenting capacity, family functioning, and promote child safety.">
- Develop innovative approaches and where appropriate, mentor the team in implementing these approaches in working with families, children, and young people.">
Requirements:
">- ">
- Tertiary qualification in Social Work, Psychology, or related discipline.">
- Current driver's license valid in Victoria.">
- Demonstrated experience in the community services sector in a case management role.">
- Demonstrated experience in the child and family welfare field, including Child Protection, Out of Home Care, Family Services, and/or other services working with vulnerable families and children.">
- Experience working with young people who have experienced abuse and trauma.">
- Understanding of the implications of abuse and trauma.">
