Job Opportunity

We are seeking a Senior Mechanical Engineer to join our team in South Australia. As a key member of our engineering group, you will be responsible for providing technical leadership and oversight of mechanical design and installation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide technical leadership and oversight of mechanical design and installation
  • Collaborate on bids and tenders, reviewing documentation and refining cost estimates
  • Work with procurement teams to define scopes and coordinate vendor engagement
  • Build strong client relationships and act as a key technical liaison
  • Mentor junior engineers and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives
  • Drive innovation and ensure successful project outcomes

About You

To succeed in this role, you will need to have:

  • A bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering (or related discipline)
  • Proven leadership in mechanical design for water/wastewater treatment projects
  • Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills
  • Familiarity with digital engineering platforms (BIM/Revit)
  • Ability to deliver under pressure and manage competing priorities
  • Excellent technical writing and organisational skills
  • A passion for mentoring and team development
