The Program

A leading Australian telecommunications company is seeking an experienced Program Manager - Security to oversee a critical infrastructure program, with a strong focus on regulatory compliance. The successful candidate will provide oversight and be highly hands-on, managing details, engaging with subject matter experts, and producing high-quality program collateral.

  • Develop, enhance, and maintain the program plan in MS Project, transitioning the current plan from Excel into a structured, sustainable format.
  • Lead the creation of a regulatory risk management and compliance framework that guides stakeholders on milestones, outcomes, and activities.
  • Engage with internal security stakeholders and wider business teams to gather requirements, clarify expectations, and align priorities.
  • Capture and manage program actions, issues, risks, and dependencies, ensuring clear ownership and timely resolution.
  • Produce high-quality program documentation, presentations, and reports for operational and executive audiences.
  • Support or lead stakeholder engagement efforts, escalating key risks or blockers as necessary.
  • Collaborate with subject matter experts to define, document, and structure business requirements.
