Our renewable energy solutions company is seeking an Apprentice Mechanical Fitter to join our team at a power station in Cairns. This 4-year fixed term contract will provide you with the opportunity to learn a technical trade and contribute to planned maintenance delivery.

  • As an Apprentice Mechanical Fitter, your key responsibilities will include applying learned skills and assisting in the delivery of planned preventative maintenance to ensure reliable renewable generation operation.
About You
  • You are committed to completing a Certificate III in Engineering Mechanical (4-year course) and eager to apply these skills daily on an operating site.
  • Essential requirements include completion or current enrolment in year 11 with satisfactory results in both Math & English along with a valid drivers' licence (learners or provisional stage acceptable).
  • You are naturally motivated, mechanically minded, and have a strong commitment to safety.
  • You are eager to learn, not afraid to ask questions or seek guidance when required.
  • You have a passion to be part of something bigger than yourself, contributing to the delivery of renewable, reliable, and affordable energy for Queensland.
