Event Coordinator Opportunity

This is an exciting opportunity to join our team as an Event Coordinator. As a key member of the Advancement Office, you will play a critical role in planning and executing events that support our mission.

About the Role:

The Event Coordinator will be responsible for organizing all aspects of Advancement events, including administration, logistics, and database support. This will involve working closely with stakeholders across the organization to ensure smooth event execution.

  • Coordinate event administration, including event scheduling, venue selection, and catering arrangements.
  • Provide advice and support to other events relevant to the Advancement Office portfolio.
  • Develop and implement administrative systems and procedures to effectively support events.
  • Coordinate events through the Advancement database, ensuring seamless operation.
  • Be the primary contact point for event-related enquiries within Advancement.
  • Maintain collaborative working relationships with key stakeholders in the Marketing and Communications team.

The successful candidate will have excellent communication and organizational skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team. They will also have experience in corporate events and be able to demonstrate compliance with relevant legislation and University policies and procedures.

  • Ability to start immediately.
