**Event Planning Manager Job Overview**: We are seeking a highly skilled Event Planning Manager to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for promoting conferences, conventions and trade shows to potential customers.

**Key Responsibilities:**

  • Respond to client inquiries concerning services provided and costs for room and equipment hire, catering and related services.
  • Meet with clients to discuss their needs and outline package options to meet these needs.
  • Arrange and coordinate services such as conference facilities, catering, signage, displays, audiovisual equipment, accommodation, transport and social events, for participants.
  • Organise registration of participants.
  • Oversight work by contractors and report on variations to work orders.

**Requirements:

  • Relevant qualification and at least 2 years work experience in a similar position.
  • Outstanding communication skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure.
