This role is responsible for developing and executing a comprehensive enterprise-wide credit risk strategy for accounts in arrears, focusing on optimising collections performance and loss recovery across various credit portfolios.
Key Responsibilities:- Create and implement a forward-thinking collections risk strategy across all consumer credit products in Australia and New Zealand.
- Develop segmentation strategies for delinquent accounts to enhance collections effectiveness and customer outcomes.
- Drive key strategic initiatives to modernise collections capabilities, leveraging AI, machine learning, and digital engagement tools through third-party vendors.
- Cultivate strong partnerships with outsourced debt collection agencies and third-party recovery providers.
- Bachelor's degree in a numerical discipline or a related field.
- Over 10 years of experience in credit risk management, with a strong focus on collections and recoveries.
- Demonstrated track record of developing and executing successful collections strategies in a financial services environment.
