About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Baker - Chef de Partie to lead our Bakery/Croissant team at Black Star Pastry. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for crafting our acclaimed pastries and developing your skills as a Pastry Chef.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare and bake pastry products according to store requirements.
  • Maintain a detailed knowledge of our product range.
  • Coordinate and oversee the supervision of a section.
  • Follow and adhere to recipe specifications.
  • Ensure compliance with food hygiene regulations.
  • Adhere to policies, procedures, standards, and safety guidelines.
About You
  • Previous experience in a Senior Baker– Chef de Partie role, particularly in viennoiserie & dough lamination.
  • Strong understanding of how the role contributes to the success of the store, including quality control and operational efficiencies.
  • Good working knowledge of the restaurant and hospitality industry.
  • Able to build effective relationships and work as a team player.
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills.
  • Good judgement and ability to make informed decisions.
  • Ability to adapt to changing business demands.
