Electrical Systems Integration Expert

The Electrical Systems Integration Expert role is a critical position within our Land Systems Division. The successful candidate will be responsible for integrating electrical systems, power distribution, sensors, vetronics, weapons and communications systems on advanced defence platforms.


Key Responsibilities
  • Apply systems engineering practices across requirements, design, integration, and verification.
  • Contribute to investigations, engineering reports, technical instructions, and change processes.
  • Support design reviews, configuration and risk management.
  • Assist in developing engineering and test plans to meet AEO and Defence certification standards.
  • Collaborate with Defence, industry, and suppliers to resolve technical challenges.
  • Provide guidance to junior engineers when required.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Degree in Electrical, Electronics, Systems or Mechatronics Engineering.
  • Experience in systems engineering within Defence or complex engineering programs.
  • Knowledge of electrical/mission systems integration (power, sensors, comms, vetronics, weapons).
  • Familiarity with requirements management, V&V, configuration and risk management.
  • Understanding of ASDEFCON and Defence acquisition processes.
  • NV1 AGSVA Security Clearance (or ability to obtain).
  • Degree qualified in Engineering (Chartered status desirable).
  • Proven experience in systems architecture and integration within the Defence sector.
  • Strong understanding of verification & validation, configuration management, and certification practices.
  • Experience working under ASDEFCON frameworks (above or below the line).
