Electrical Systems Integration Specialist

About the Role

This position involves the integration of electrical systems on advanced defence platforms. The successful candidate will support the Armoured Fighter Vehicle Branch and contribute to the development of engineering and test plans to meet AEO and Defence certification standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Apply systems engineering practices across requirements, design, integration, and verification.
  • Contribute to investigations, engineering reports, technical instructions, and change processes.
  • Support design reviews, configuration management, and risk assessment.
  • Develop engineering and test plans to meet regulatory requirements.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to resolve technical challenges.
Requirements
  • Degree in Electrical, Electronics, Systems or Mechatronics Engineering.
  • Experience in systems engineering within Defence or complex engineering programs.
  • Knowledge of electrical/mission systems integration (power, sensors, comms, vetronics, weapons).
  • Familiarity with requirements management, verification, configuration management, and risk management.
  • Understanding of ASDEFCON and Defence acquisition processes.
  • NV1 AGSVA Security Clearance (or ability to obtain).
