Electrical Systems Integration Specialist

A highly skilled Electrical Systems Integration Specialist role is available for an experienced professional. This position involves electrical systems integration, power distribution, sensors, vetronics, weapons and communications systems on advanced defence platforms.

  • Apply systems engineering practices across requirements, design, integration, and verification & validation to deliver high-quality solutions.
  • Contribute to investigations, engineering reports, technical instructions, and change processes to ensure smooth project execution.
  • Support design reviews, configuration and risk management to identify and mitigate potential issues.
  • Assist in developing engineering and test plans to meet certification standards, ensuring compliance with industry regulations.
  • Collaborate with Defence, industry, and suppliers to resolve technical challenges and drive innovation.
  • Provide guidance to junior engineers when required, helping them develop their skills and expertise.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Degree in Electrical, Electronics, Systems or Mechatronics Engineering.
  • Experience in systems engineering within Defence or complex engineering programs.
  • Knowledge of electrical/mission systems integration (power, sensors, comms, vetronics, weapons).
  • Familiarity with requirements management, V&V, configuration and risk management.
  • NV1 AGSVA Security Clearance (or ability to obtain).
  • Degree qualified in Engineering (Chartered status desirable).
  • Proven experience in systems architecture and integration within the Defence sector.
  • Strong understanding of verification & validation, configuration management, and certification practices.
  • Experience working under ASDEFCON frameworks.
