Service Administrator Job Description

About the Role:

The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating and scheduling service jobs, assisting customers with technical queries, and providing general administration support.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Customer/Technical Support:
    • Log service calls;
    • Assist customers with basic technical queries;
  • General Administration:
    • Process payments;
    • Preparing service warranty reports;
    • Issue purchase orders;
    • Provide information and documentation to customer where required;
  • Cross Functional Support / Training:
    • Assist other company personnel as required;
    • Be involved in on-the-job training of other staff;

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in a busy service department;
  • Strong Customer Service focus and Customer follow-up;
  • High level of diplomacy with the ability to problem solve and resolve conflict;

Job Requirements:

This role requires strong time management skills, high level of organisational skills and previous work experience in a similar Planning/Scheduling/Administration/Customer Service role. The ideal candidate should also have experience working in a busy service department.
