Job Description

This is an ongoing role working in our afternoon shift (14:30-22:21) with a focus on improving plant and equipment reliability. The ideal candidate will have experience in batch manufacturing, specifically in filling / packaging / palletising, and be able to provide technical advice in Manufacturing facilities.



Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide maintenance and engineering solutions to improve plant and equipment reliability
  • Provide leadership and supervision for Mechanical Technicians; manage maintenance activities during facility shutdown periods
  • Investigate process, plant, and equipment failures, determine the cause of failure, and develop permanent solutions


Required Skills and Qualifications

The successful candidate will have:

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Chemical, Electromechanical or Process Engineering
  • Experience in a batch manufacturing environment, specifically in filling / packaging / palletising
  • At least 3-5 years of experience in a maintenance engineering position
  • Knowledge of maintenance systems and familiarity with Computerised Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS)
