About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Educator to join our Out-of-School-Hours (OSHC) team at YMCA NSW. As a Casual Educator, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care and education to primary school-age children.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and implement engaging activities for children, promoting their physical, emotional, and social development.
  • Work collaboratively with OSHC Coordinators to ensure the delivery of a safe and inclusive program.
  • Provide support to children with diverse needs, including those with disabilities and English language learners.
  • Contribute to the development of a calendar of activities, ensuring a balance of sports, creative arts, and educational programs.
  • Maintain accurate records of children's progress and participation.
Requirements
  • Relevant qualifications in Early Childhood Education or a related field.
  • Experience working with children in an OSHC or similar setting.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Current First Aid and CPR certification.
  • Valid Working with Children Check.
