This role offers hands-on experience in a workshop setting and field operations across various locations.
Key Responsibilities:- Technical Expertise: Preparing and interpreting technical drawings, plans, and diagrams to ensure correct installation and operation of monitoring equipment.
- Equipment Maintenance: Installing, testing, repairing, and maintaining mechanical, electrical, and electronic equipment used for downhole and surface monitoring.
- Field Testing: Performing tests, quality checks, and recording results using specialized software to ensure accurate data acquisition.
- Workshop Operations: Carrying out preventive maintenance, cleaning, and commissioning of equipment to ensure operational readiness.
- Rig-Up and Rig-Down Activities: Executing safe deployment and retrieval of equipment during field operations.
- Material Estimation: Assisting with estimation of materials and resources required for service jobs.
- Documentation: Preparing technical reports and documentation for internal records and client presentations.
- Oilfield Experience: Experienced in oilfield field operations and/or instrumentation.
- Mechanical Aptitude: Mechanically minded with strong practical problem-solving skills.
- Equipment Operation: Able to operate and maintain field equipment and data systems.
- Safety Focus: Strong focus on safety and quality standards.
- Teamwork: Positive attitude and able to work within a team.
- Location: Residing in Queensland.
