Job Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled Field Service Technician to support the installation, maintenance and servicing of downhole monitoring sensors and surface data acquisition systems.

  • Prepare and interpret technical drawings, plans and diagrams for equipment installation and operation.
  • Install, test, repair and maintain mechanical, electrical and electronic equipment used for monitoring purposes.
  • Perform field-based tests, quality checks and record results using specialized software to ensure accurate data acquisition.
Responsibilities and Expectations

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Experience in oilfield operations and/or instrumentation.
  • Mechanical aptitude with strong problem-solving skills.
  • Able to operate and maintain field equipment and data systems.
  • Strong focus on safety and quality standards.

This is a hands-on role based out of Chinchilla, involving workshop servicing and primarily field work across the Surat and other basins.
