Job Opportunity
We are seeking an experienced General Manager to drive growth and expansion in our manufacturing business. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in commercial construction, sales, and project management, with experience leading medium to large teams and managing complex projects.

About the Role

As a General Manager, you will be responsible for developing and implementing business strategies to achieve company objectives, while maintaining a culture of responsibility and accountability. This will involve managing key customer relationships, manufacturing operations, tenders, contracts, project management, process improvements, safety, finance, and fostering a culture of development among team members.

Key Skills and Qualifications
  • Tertiary qualifications in a relevant field;
  • Proven profit center or general management experience in building on medium to large manufacturing, construction, and sales operations ($60M+);
  • Experience in end-to-end management of commercial projects and installations involving made-to-order or customized engineered products/systems in the building and construction sector;
  • Demonstrated skills in leading, motivating, influencing, and managing medium to large teams (including construction project management teams);
  • Strong organizational skills, construction project management expertise, computer literacy (Excel, ERP systems), and analytical, strategic, commercially savvy, and involved in new product design and sourcing.
