Key Responsibilities:
  • Monitor and evaluate engineers and drafting staff to ensure technical competence meets requirements.
  • Programme workloads and provide guidance to the Design Engineering staff.
  • Work with Management on resource planning processes to meet project design requirements.
  • Administer technical briefs for sub-consultant engagement.
  • Prepare and control issue of the Project Design Management Plan.
  • Coordinate design interfaces with Client's designers as required.
  • Manage Engineers/ Designers to ensure authorisation and issue of documents and drawings.
  • Coordinate responses to technical queries from contractors and other project staff in a timely manner.
  • Identify, investigate, record, monitor and report on actions, resolution and costs of identified design non-conformances.

Essential Skills and Experience:

  • Bachelor of Engineering degree.
  • 10+ years' experience in the industry.
  • Extensive knowledge on organisation projects and practices.
  • Experience in leading and managing technical/project teams.
