As Chief Enterprise Architect, you'll be the strategic force behind TechnologyOne's long-term architectural vision - ensuring it's scalable, secure, and aligned with our ambitious SaaS growth. This is a pivotal leadership role where you'll drive enterprise-wide technical direction, champion architectural governance, and unlock innovation across our products, platforms, and infrastructure.
Reporting to the CTO, you'll collaborate with senior leaders across Engineering, Product, Infrastructure, and Strategy to harmonise architecture across a complex product suite. You'll also lead a high-performing team of domain and solution architects, fostering a culture of collaboration, simplification, and forward-thinking design.
What you'll be doing…
- Defining and maintaining an enterprise architecture roadmap that supports business strategy, scalability, and performance
- Establishing architectural principles, standards, and governance frameworks to guide technology decisions across the organisation
- Chairing the Architecture Council and leading the Monthly Architecture Forum to drive alignment and knowledge sharing
- Providing architectural assurance across major initiatives, platforms, and services
- Overseeing key technology domains-platform, cloud, data, integration, and security-to ensure cohesive evolution
- Evaluating emerging technologies and translating trends in SaaS, DevOps, AI/ML, and cloud-native architecture into actionable opportunities
- Leading proof-of-concepts and early adoption projects to de-risk innovation
- Building and leading a high-performing, engaged team of architects across business units and domains
- Driving simplification, reusability, and automation across systems and processes
- Continuously improving architecture governance, tooling, and visibility to support delivery effectiveness
Your Talents…
- Proven leadership in enterprise or solution architecture within large-scale SaaS or software product organisations
- Deep technical expertise in cloud-native environments, modern software engineering, and scalable system design
- Strategic thinker with strong commercial acumen and the ability to communicate complex ideas clearly
- Skilled in leading distributed teams and influencing across organisational boundaries
- Familiarity with architectural frameworks like TOGAF or Zachman, and modern practices like microservices, event-driven architecture, and CI/CD
- Experience balancing cost, quality, and innovation in fast-paced environments
- Bonus: Experience in multi-product, multi-tenant SaaS environments or familiarity with TechnologyOne's ecosystem
