Job Title: Foreman

Job Summary:

BESIX Watpac is seeking a skilled Foreman to join our team in Rockhampton to deliver a large processing facility project. The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating on-site activities, ensuring timely completion, and maintaining high standards of safety and quality.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Organize and coordinate on-site activities, including sequencing, resource allocation, and material management.
  • Work closely with the Project Manager to review and resequence activities as necessary to achieve the programmed completion date.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and practices on safety, industrial relations, and quality assurance.
  • Lead and manage a team of site personnel to deliver results in a high-pressure environment.
  • Monitor and report on project progress, identifying and mitigating potential risks and issues.

Requirements:

  • Relevant trade qualification and demonstrated experience in construction project delivery.
  • Proven ability to operate autonomously, using initiative, sound reasoning, listening, and decision-making skills.
  • Ability to build and lead an effective results-driven team.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with stakeholders and team members.
  • Ability to deliver results in a high-pressure environment.
