Production Clerk Role Summary

This role is for a Production Clerk to assist in delivering capabilities by undertaking administrative and non-technical support tasks.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Support trades persons with administrative tasks and provide assistance with ordering and expediting repair parts.
  • Identify opportunities for continuous improvement initiatives and contribute to collaborative innovation.
  • Use Commonwealth managed systems to manage, track and expedite repair parts, as well as cargo visibility.
  • Assist with planning and scheduling of maintenance activities and administer Supply Customer Account/s.
  • Perform office administration duties including sorting and distributing work tickets or material to workers.
Requirements:
  • Previous experience in a similar role with demonstrated experience in advanced administration functions.
  • Competent in Microsoft Office applications including Word, Excel and Powerpoint.
  • Experience in using databases and working in a workshop environment with accurate ordering of spare parts and distribution.
  • Ability to read and interpret orders and prepare work tickets, product specifications and individual-worker production sheets.
