Job Title: Inventory Coordinator

Our organization is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Inventory Coordinator to oversee and optimize all inventory management activities within our warehouse and distribution centre.

About the Role:
  • The successful candidate will provide leadership and facilitate collaboration to support the day-to-day operational performance of the Distribution Centre team.
  • Develop a working relationship with all team members and have a sound knowledge of their activities within the Distribution Centre.
  • Ensure compliance with Chain of Responsibility (CoR), Traffic Management, and Workplace Health and Safety legislation.

The Inventory Coordinator will be responsible for providing oversight of inventory control, directing, controlling, and coordinating all elements of inventory management operations. Key responsibilities include:

We are looking for an individual who possesses excellent communication and liaison skills, with the ability to work effectively as part of a team and adapt to changing environments. The ideal candidate will also have knowledge of practices relevant to warehousing, inventory controls, and distribution functions, as well as the ability to operate motor vehicles and materials handling equipment.

Requirements:

  • Degree in Supply Chain Management or related field
  • Minimum 5 years' experience in inventory management or related role
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Knowledge of inventory management software and systems
