About the Role

The University of Melbourne seeks an experienced and skilled Academic Integrity Specialist to join its Student and Scholarly Services team. This role is a critical part of ensuring that all students at the University maintain the highest standards of academic integrity.

Key Responsibilities
  • Investigate allegations of student academic misconduct, ensuring that all assessments are conducted in a procedurally fair manner.
  • Liaise with subject matter experts and other relevant parties to gather and assess information, compiling clear and concise briefs focused on key points.
  • Regularly update databases to ensure that all parties are fully engaged and informed about the management and progression of matters.

This role requires strong judgment, communication skills, and the ability to build collaborative relationships within the university community.

The successful candidate will have:

  • An undergraduate degree or equivalent, combined with experience conducting detailed investigations, undertaking research, analysing information, and determining defensible findings.
  • A high degree of cultural competence, including the ability to understand, communicate, and effectively interact across cultures.
  • An ability to apply strategic thinking, critically evaluate information, and exercise judgment and initiative.
Salary

The estimated annual salary for this position is between $95,000-$110,000 AUD, depending on qualifications and experience.
