Academic Integrity Specialist

About the Role
The Investigator, Student Academic Misconduct is a key position that plays a critical role in upholding the University of Melbourne's commitment to academic integrity. As a member of the Student and Scholarly Services team, you will be responsible for investigating allegations of serious student academic misconduct, ensuring compliance with the Student Academic Integrity Policy.
This role involves conducting thorough investigations, analysing information, and documenting decision-making with precision. You will also provide guidance to stakeholders on integrity matters, leveraging your strong communication skills and ability to build collaborative relationships within the university community.
Your Responsibilities
- Manage and investigate suspected incidents of student academic misconduct, ensuring that all assessments are conducted through a procedurally fair process.
- Liaise with subject matter experts, interview students and other relevant parties to gather and assess information. Compile clear, concise and accurate briefs, focused on key points and using appropriate and unambiguous language.
- Regularly update databases to ensure that all parties are fully engaged and informed about how a matter is being managed and progressed.
