Daily Tasks and Responsibilities:

  • Food Preparation: Prepare hot food items such as pizzas, chicken, and soft pretzels by proving, rolling, shaping, adding toppings or fillings, and baking them to perfection. Slice pizzas, put baked items in warmers, steam hot dogs and buns.
  • Cash Handling and Customer Service: Ring up sales, collect money, make change, and provide prompt and courteous member service. Place whole pizza orders from members at the counter and on the phone, assemble and present orders to customers.
  • Drink Dispensing and Cleaning: Dispense dessert and drink items such as frozen yogurt, latte, and smoothie, and clean, sanitize, service, and refill dispensing machines.
  • Eating Area Maintenance: Maintain self-serve soda pop areas, condiment tables, and eating areas. Bus, clean, and sanitize tables, sweep and mop floors, empty trash.
  • Machine Sanitizing and Inventory Management: Clean and sanitize machines, work surfaces, floors, pans, utensils, and counters, take garbage to trash compactors, and operate compactors. Pull ingredients and supplies from warehouses, stock large volume ingredients to shelves, coolers, and freezers, stage ingredients to preparation areas, and refill dispensing machines.
  • Front End Support and Miscellaneous Duties: Assist with front-end duties as necessary, assist in other departments of the warehouse as needed.

Requirements:

  • Education/Training: High School certificate or higher
  • Licenses/Certifications: Must complete Costco Food Safety Certification
  • Experience: Hospitality or food service experience
  • Knowledge/Skills: Customer service or comparable

Estimated Salary Range: $25-$35 per hour, depending on location and experience
