Nurse Unit Manager

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Associate Nurse Unit Manager to join our Paediatric Emergency Department team at the Women's and Children's Health Network. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for:
- Creating a positive and supportive work environment that promotes teamwork, learning, and development.
- Developing and maintaining partnerships with internal and external stakeholders to support quality patient care and outcomes.
- Maintaining individual professional development portfolios and competencies within the current role.
- Continuously reviewing and improving existing practices to ensure the highest standard of care.
To be successful in this role, you will have:
- Effective communication, problem-solving, conflict resolution, and negotiation skills.
- Experience in supervising student nurses, assistant in nursing, enrolled nurses, and less experienced registered nurses.
- Demonstrated ability to relate to people from diverse cultural and social backgrounds.
- Ability to lead and motivate staff to achieve positive outcomes.
