About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Associate Nurse Unit Manager to join our team at the Royal Adelaide Hospital. As a key member of our dialysis unit, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality patient care and leading a team of nursing professionals.

As an Associate Nurse Unit Manager, you will be responsible for providing clinical leadership and guidance to your team, ensuring that patients receive the best possible care. You will work closely with the Nurse Unit Manager to develop and implement nursing strategies, manage resources, and promote a culture of excellence within the unit.

This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated and experienced nurse to take on a leadership role and contribute to the success of our dialysis unit. If you are passionate about delivering high-quality patient care and leading a team of dedicated professionals, we encourage you to apply.

About You

We are looking for a candidate who possesses excellent clinical skills, leadership abilities, and a passion for delivering high-quality patient care. You will have a strong understanding of nursing practices, policies, and procedures, and be able to communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams.

Key qualifications and skills include:

  • Current registration as a Nurse/Midwife with a current practising certificate
  • Strong leadership and communication skills
  • Experience in haemodialysis, peritoneal dialysis, and training home patients
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team
