Senior Communications Engineer Job Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Communications Engineer to provide expert support and maintenance for Motorola P25 networks.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Reporting to the Engineering Team Leader, providing technical service as per requirements listed below.
  • Supporting Motorola P25 Network management-tool and architecture.
  • Assisting the technical change management process by testing changes that may affect End User Devices.
  • Escalation and providing support to level 3 teams as required.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in mobile communications systems engineering with at least 15 years of experience. They should also possess excellent customer service skills, strong verbal and written communication, and sound planning capability.

Requirements:
  • Expertise in understanding protocols, standards, and interfaces for interoperability between core elements or different vendors within the network.
  • Advanced understanding of DC power systems and batteries.
  • Analysis and fault-finding skills on a system level.
  • Excellent customer service skills with good communication skills for total customer satisfaction.
  • Strong verbal and written communication and presentation skills.
  • Solid planning capability, prioritization skills, and personal organization to set priorities and meet deadlines.
  • Excellent theoretical and practical problem-solving skills.
