Materials Planner Role

We are seeking a skilled Materials Planner to lead our planning and inventory management processes.

This role will be responsible for ensuring all production and sales requirements are met, maintaining optimal inventory levels, and driving supply chain efficiency.

  • Main Responsibilities:
  • - Monitor stock levels and determine optimal quantities for ordering.
  • - Proactively manage exceptions, including backorders and overdue purchase orders.
  • - Work with internal departments to forecast stock levels and resolve replenishment issues.
  • - Liaise with suppliers to maintain consistent stock levels and manage delivery dates.
  • - Participate in S&OP Process and NPD Process.
  • - Anticipate and resolve supply issues with suppliers and arrange contingency products if needed.
  • - Establish and manage inventory targets supporting operations and financial objectives.
  • - Maintain planning system data for highest possible data integrity.
  • - Deliver required reports, metrics, and analyses in a timely manner.
  • - Reduce raw materials write-offs.
Requirements:
  • Essential Skills and Qualifications:
  • - 2-5 years' experience in supply chain planning, preferably in FMCG.
  • - Project and change management experience with cross-functional team collaboration.
  • - Strong understanding of end-to-end supply chain processes.
  • - Excellent communication, negotiation, and analytical skills.
  • - Proficiency in ERP/MRP systems, particularly SAP (advantage).
  • - High computer literacy, especially with Excel.
