
Strategic Inventory Manager

We are seeking a seasoned Inventory Manager to oversee the procurement and inventory management process, ensuring seamless stock replenishment and efficient execution of purchase orders.
This key role will be responsible for conducting thorough stock reviews, analyzing reports, and implementing strategic initiatives to maintain optimal stock levels. The ideal candidate will have excellent analytical skills, attention to detail, and experience working with automated replenishment systems.
The successful candidate will collaborate closely with buyers to execute purchase orders, proactively follow up on backorders, and communicate vendor delivery guidelines. They will also develop and implement effective strategies to manage stock expiration and aged stock, ensuring compliance with labelling requirements in Australia and New Zealand.
Additional responsibilities include tracking expiry dates, initiating stock replenishment, and managing imports and exports.
Required Skills and Qualifications- Minimum 3 years' experience in a similar inventory management role;
- Experience working with FMCG products;
- Bachelor's degree in a related field;
- High level of analytical skills and attention to detail;
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills;
- Ability to manage competing priorities and assess/resolve problems;
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills;
- Team player with high adaptability to change.
