The Role:

As an experienced Cloud Infrastructure Specialist, you will be responsible for delivering day-to-day operational support for our corporate infrastructure services, ensuring seamless functionality across public and private clouds.

  • Provide top-notch technical training to our Service Desk team, equipping them with the knowledge to resolve complex issues efficiently.
  • Maintain high site availability and reliability in Azure and Private Cloud environments, leveraging VMware vCloud Director.
  • Design and configure corporate hardware, including desktops (MECM/Intune), servers, and associated peripherals.
  • Collaborate with third-party vendors, including Managed Service Providers, to ensure smooth operations.
  • Proactively monitor system performance and capacity, recommending improvements to optimize our technological footprint.
  • Participate in project deliveries, governance, and cyber security implementation, adhering to best practices and change control procedures.

Experience Required:

You should possess advanced skills in IT infrastructure disciplines, including Microsoft 365 and Windows Servers (AD, Entra ID, DNS, Hybrid Exchange, SharePoint, DFS, Teams, OneDrive). Experience managing MECM is essential, while Intune skills (Autopilot and MDM for Mobile devices and Windows devices) are highly desirable.

A strong background in cloud infrastructure, particularly in Azure, with experience in supporting security solutions (Defender, Mimecast, SSO with Okta and Entra ID) is also crucial.
