Assistant Venue Manager Job Description

This role involves overseeing daily operations, including site setup and pack-down, and working closely with the Venue Manager to deliver seamless operations.

The Assistant Venue Manager will contribute to planning and delivering the bump-in and bump-out production schedule, and support a team of casual onsite staff.

  • Assist in managing day-to-day operations.
  • Support the Venue Manager in event delivery.
  • Recruit, train, and develop staff.
  • Manage food and beverage operations.
  • Oversee sponsorship activations.
  • Prepare rosters and manage timesheets.
  • Ensure WHS compliance.
About This Role

This is a Fixed-Term, Full-Time Contract that requires working afternoon-evening shifts, with some administration time allocated during the day.

What You'll Need To Succeed

To be successful in this role, you'll need excellent communication and teamwork skills, as well as experience in venue management and leadership. A strong understanding of WHS principles is also essential.
