Venue Manager
About the Role:We are seeking a highly skilled Venue Manager to lead our 400-seater venue in Fremantle. The successful candidate will be responsible for operating a thriving venue, offering exceptional dining and entertainment experiences.
Key Responsibilities:- Event Delivery: Drive planning, delivery, and execution of high-quality events and functions to promote the organisation's profile
- Operational Oversight: Oversee operational aspects of the venue, ensuring seamless service and guest satisfaction
- Customer Relations: Manage all aspects of the FOH department, including customer relations and loyalty initiatives
- Regulatory Compliance: Ensure compliance with sanitation and safety regulations, maintaining a clean and well-presented venue
- Financial Management: Control costs, report on breakages and wastages, and meet financial KPIs
- Coordination: Coordinate events, meetings, and promotions, identifying requirements and procuring resources
- Experience: Minimum 3 years' experience in a similar role, restaurant capacity, and style
- Qualifications: Diploma or Degree in Hospitality or Events Management or equivalent
- Skillset: Excellent organisational and time management skills, ability to multitask and prioritise workloads
- Financial Acumen: Strong understanding of budgetary controls and financial acumen
- Interpersonal Skills: Great interpersonal and communication abilities, flexibility to work long hours and weekends
