Job Description:

A highly motivated Plant Operations Manager is required to join our Aluminium Manufacturing and Distribution company. The primary role of this position is to oversee the monitoring of plant performance, scheduling of preventative maintenance, and implementing continuous improvement systems.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee installation, commissioning of process equipment, and development of maintenance strategies for the production environment.
  • Monitor plant performance and schedule preventative maintenance to ensure optimal efficiency.
  • Implement continuous improvement systems to enhance productivity and quality.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Degree Qualified in Electrical/Mechanical Engineering or extensive experience in a manufacturing or similar industry with suitable trade qualifications (Mechanical or Electrical).
  • Experience with hydraulic and pneumatic systems in an industrial environment.
  • Strong knowledge of safety and environmental regulations associated with a manufacturing or similar environment.
