We are seeking a highly skilled Occupational Therapist - Social Worker to join our dynamic multidisciplinary team within the Environmental Health Centre, Family Health & Development Team at Yorke and Northern Local Health Network.
Key Responsibilities- Provide occupational therapy and social work services to families of young children (aged 0-5 years) in understanding the issues around environmental lead and managing family member's blood lead levels.
- Work collaboratively with allied health clinicians to support the management of exposure risks to minimise blood lead levels within our target group.
- Develop and implement strategies to improve health outcomes for pregnant women and children.
- Provide education and support to families on environmental lead and its impact on health.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care for families.
