Occupational Therapist

We are seeking a skilled Occupational Therapist to join our team on a casual basis. As an Occupational Therapist, you will play a vital role in assisting clients in meeting their goals by planning, implementing, and evaluating a comprehensive range of Occupational Therapy services.
Key Responsibilities- Plan, implement, and evaluate Occupational Therapy services to meet the needs of the local community.
- Utilize Primary Health Care principles to ensure the range of Occupational Therapy services provided meets changing community needs.
- Participate in the planning, implementation, and evaluation of Occupational Therapy programs across various settings.
- Undertake clinical prioritization and triaging of referrals and manage this in line with organizational priorities.
- Support less experienced clinicians and allied health assistants and undertake clinical assessments and implementing recommendations to keep clients in their homes, assist in hospital discharge, or meet client goals.
- A recognized qualification within the Occupational Therapy profession.
- Eligibility for full membership of the South Australian Board of Occupational Therapists.
- Registration requirements for self-regulated professions must be met.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact effectively with people from diverse backgrounds and work well within a multidisciplinary team environment.

Selection Criteria- DHS Working With Children Check (WWCC)
- DHS National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) Worker Check
- National Police Certificate (NPC) for employment involving unsupervised contact with vulnerable groups
