Pathology Collector Role

We are seeking a skilled Pathology Collector to join our team. As a Pathology Collector, you will be the friendly face behind the first hello, delivering great customer service and quality healthcare.

You will collect blood and non-blood samples with care and attention, keeping meticulous records for every patient and sample. You will also deliver documentation within strict turnaround times, prepare and package specimens for transport and testing, and liaise with customers, clinic staff, and couriers.

The Right Candidate
  • Demonstrated experience and knowledge in Phlebotomy or Certificate III in Pathology Collection or a healthcare background
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills, with a high level of empathy
  • Organised, with strong time management and attention to detail
  • Able to work autonomously, sometimes working independently in a solo clinic
  • Valid Driver's license and flexibility to travel to multiple clinics
  • Working with Children's Check or willing to obtain one
  • Australian citizen or permanent resident or New Zealand citizen, or hold a valid visa with permission to work
Vaccination Requirements

Vaccine preventable disease evidence such as Hepatitis B is a requirement of this role. Other vaccinations based on location may be required/setting.
