About the Role

DP World Australia is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Transport Coordinator to join our team. As a key member of our export operations team, you will be responsible for coordinating and facilitating communication between rail and transport departments, focusing on rail exports and ensuring the timely delivery of containers before cut-off periods.

Key Responsibilities

  • Plan and schedule delivery of exports to terminal
  • Create releases and bulk run orders in Container Chain
  • Communicate with transport to ensure execution of export plan
  • Update and maintain export master plan
  • Liaise with rail customers on any PRA issues
  • Utilise 1-stop system to check vessel receivals
  • Follow up and chase Late Receivals
  • Maintain up-to-date reporting systems to ensure accurate billing and invoicing
  • Reporting as required
  • Answer internal and external customer calls and email queries/questions
  • Ensure customer focus is a key priority and be the primary point of contact for internal and external stakeholders regarding export container inquiries
  • Develop and maintain customer relationships and partnerships

Requirements

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong organisational and planning skills
  • High level organisational skills
  • Data accuracy and attention to detail
  • Manage time and projects efficiently
  • Computer literate in Microsoft/equivalent systems and ability to learn and understand new technologies
  • Excel – intermediate level
