We are seeking an experienced and skilled professional to join our team as a Team Leader. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is passionate about providing exceptional care and support to residents in a residential aged care setting.

About the Role

  • This position is responsible for supervising the smooth operations of a household, ensuring that all residents receive high-quality care and support.
  • You will be working closely with other members of the team to promote a cohesive and harmonious work environment, while maintaining a focus on resident-centered care.
  • The successful candidate will have strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire others to achieve their best.
  • You will also be responsible for monitoring equipment and supplies, arranging maintenance and repairs when necessary, and tracking inventory levels.
  • Additionally, you will be expected to assist residents with daily living activities and personal care, while promoting independence and dignity at all times.
  • In this role, you will have the opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of our residents, while contributing to the continuous improvement of our service.

What We Are Looking For

  • A Certificate IV in Aged Care or equivalent qualification.
  • Previous supervisory experience in aged or community care, with a focus on resident-centered care.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire others.
  • Adaptability and resourcefulness, with a willingness to learn and grow.
  • Experience in using client/data management systems, with a focus on data-driven decision making.
