At our organization, we are seeking an experienced professional to fill the role of Senior Workplace Relations Manager.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in industrial instruments, legislation, and company policies. They will be responsible for assisting the Head of Industrial Relations & Policy in executing a strategic and consistent Workplace Relations approach across the business.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Interpret and apply industrial instruments, legislation, and company policies to ensure compliance and best practice.
  • Implement changes necessitated by law reforms, Award, and enterprise agreement updates.
  • Support enterprise bargaining and change management processes.
  • Maintain internal resource libraries relevant to workplace relations.
  • Provide timely and accurate reporting and advice on all matters related to workplace relations.
  • Work constructively with business leaders and union officials to support resolution of industrial matters.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure compliance and best practice in workplace relations.

Requirements:
  • Tertiary graduate or post-graduate degree in Law, Human Resources, Industrial Relations/Workplace Relations, or related field.
  • Proven capability in Workplace Relations, contributing to both strategic initiatives and day-to-day operations.
  • Experience in improving the capability of others in resolving workplace relations issues.
  • Able to work collaboratively and effectively with a diverse range of stakeholders.
  • Proven ability to communicate complex information in a meaningful and useful way.
