Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled Corporate Communications Manager to join our team at Teachers Health. As a key member of our communications team, you will be responsible for protecting, maintaining, and improving the TH Group brand, reputation, and media engagement through our external media, communications, and public relations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead, plan, and implement the media and public relations framework and strategy for the TH Group, delivering high-quality media and public relations content, strategies, campaigns, and media activities.
- Build strong working relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including union and industry partners, and relevant media outlets.
- Lead day-to-day management of consumer media and be the main point of contact for TFH's media enquiries.
- Drive awareness of Teachers Health Group and subsidiary brands through proactive and reactive consumer media planning and assist in growing the organisation's profile with key audiences by increasing media presence.
- Identify and manage opportunities for the CEO, Chair, and other leadership representatives to contribute to relevant news, public commentary, and similar forums of public influence.
- Identify opportunities, create content, and manage approvals for a variety of media materials, including press releases, bios, fact sheets, and media alerts.
- Report on the effectiveness of consumer media campaigns and activities.
Requirements:
- Experience across multiple channels, including the production of messages, documents, and assets within these channels.
- Mid-level copywriting for various channels.
- Experience across media release distribution platforms and monitoring experience.
- Relevant tertiary qualifications, such as Marketing, Business Communications, Journalism, Public Relations, or a related field.
